 Restaurent Green Zone has partnered with the Recycling Council of BC (www.rcbc.bc.ca ) and the White Rock BIA to test a community collection program that will allow local residents to bring their used frying oil to selected locations. White Rock and Burnaby will be the proposed two locations for the pilot. Each location will serve a different purpose. In White Rock, Next NRG Systems will ask their restaurants in that area to allow local residents to drop off their used frying oil. However, in Burnaby, the drop off location will be the Still Creek Recycling Facility. The proposals are pending the approval of the local municipal governments for White Rock and Burnaby.
